Painting is my happy place, like a good friend waiting for a hug. My studio is where my heart flows through the paint brush. It is a gift from the Creator of all things. In the last several years I have been fortunate to be more serious about creating art, exhibiting in shows and doing commissioned pieces. I am especially inspired by the beauty of God’s creation, rustic country landscapes, botanicals, and currently children.
I love the flow of color and the feel of a brush in my hand. It is the closest thing to prayer I know. My faith is the most important part of my life and painting reminds me how all beauty points back to God and every work of fine art bears witness to Him. It is a joy to share with others my love of putting color on paper or canvas!
